Booking & parties
When does booking open?
Booking is open 3 months ahead. Parties of up to eight can book directly on the booking page.
How do we book for 9–17 guests?
Send an enquiry through the contact form with your preferred date and party size, and we will help with availability and the best format.
Can we book the restaurant privately?
Kalcium can normally be booked privately for 18–24 guests. The starting price is SEK 45,000 including VAT and includes a seasonal menu, an agreed drink pairing and exclusive use of the agreed restaurant area. Read more and request a quote.
What are the cancellation and no-show terms?
Cancellation is free no later than 48 hours before your visit. The no-show fee is SEK 300 per guest in The Dining Room, SEK 500 at Chef’s Table and SEK 500 for the Christmas menu. Long Lunch has no no-show fee.
Food & the experience
Do you offer à la carte?
No. At Kalcium, we serve set menus only. Choose The Dining Room, Chef’s Table or Long Lunch according to the format and pace that suits you.
How do I tell you about allergies or dietary needs?
Tell us when booking and no later than 48 hours before your visit. The Dining Room and Long Lunch cannot be offered vegan, egg-free or milk-protein-free. Chef’s Table cannot be offered vegetarian, egg-free or milk-protein-free. Other allergies are assessed against the current menu.
May children and dogs join?
Yes. Children and dogs are welcome for all Kalcium menus and throughout the restaurant.
How long should we allow?
Allow approximately 2.5 hours in The Dining Room, 3.5 hours at Chef’s Table and 2 hours for Long Lunch. Exact bookable times are shown in the booking system.
May we arrive before our booking time?
Certainly. You are very welcome to arrive early for a pre-dinner drink, but please be seated at your booked time. Call us if you are delayed on the day.
Can I buy a gift card?
Yes. Gift cards can be used for The Dining Room, Chef’s Table, Long Lunch and drinks. Order on the gift card page for delivery as a digital PDF or collection at Kalcium.
Travel & practical details
Is parking and EV charging available?
Gravel parking is available on both sides of the restaurant. One accessible space is on the left, around 15 metres from the entrance. EV charging is not available.
What accessibility information is available?
The route from the parking area to the entrance is step-free and an accessible toilet is available. The toilet and lounge are step-free; The Dining Room and Chef’s Table are reached by two steps. The entrance’s double doors need to be opened fully. Please contact us before your visit if you would like assistance.
Where can we stay and how do we arrange a taxi?
We have gathered recommended places to stay and local taxi companies. Book both accommodation and taxis well ahead, especially for late evenings and weekends.
